This Jr Statesman roller ball pen is crafted from root of a very rare Texas mountain laurel, more commonly know as mescal bean.  The wood is stabilized with an amber red acrylic acetate resin that filled in the natural voids in the root wood and protects the pen body from the natural oils in our hands.  The pen is equiped wit a bodium nib to insure many years of comfortable writing pleasure.  The finial and cap are incrusted with 22 karat gold emblems that give the pen its stately look and design . This roller ball has a Schmidt refill available at any office supply.  The pen is truly a "one of a kind" collectible.  It is well balanced when writing either with cap posted or not.  The pen would make an excellent gift for the serious collector or just a wonderful addition to your own collection.
